Important Tips from the Workshop
- Piston Note: Don't panic if you don't see loose pistons in the box! To ensure precision, our factory technicians have pre-installed the piston rings and pistons inside the cylinder block. They are not missing.
- Fuel Requirement: This engine is designed for 20-25% Nitro Methanol Fuel. Do not use gasoline. High nitro content may affect ignition timing, so stick to the recommended range.
- Lubrication Strategy: This engine does not have an oil sump. The crankshaft and pistons are lubricated by the oil in your fuel. However, the camshafts (top of the engine) need manual lubrication. Please apply red grease to the camshafts during assembly and maintenance.
- What You Need to Finish: This is a bare engine kit. To run it, you will need to separately purchase: 4x Glow Plugs, a 4-in-1 Ignition Module, a Radiator/Water Tank, Fuel Lines, a Base, and a 7.4V (2S) LiPo Battery with a T-Plug.
